Cycling 318 is designed to be played without an in-game account, and to keep your data on your device. This policy explains what the app does and doesn’t collect.

The short version

• No sign-up and no in-game account.
• No third-party advertising, and no ad or tracking SDKs.
• We don’t sell or share your personal data.
• Your progress stays on your device and syncs only through your own private iCloud.
• Game Center is optional and used only for achievements, leaderboards and friend features.
• Voice companion is optional; microphone audio is sent only when you press and hold the talk button.

What stays on your device

Your ride progress, settings, garage, postcards and 318 passport are stored locally on your device. When you’re signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID, this data can sync across your devices through Apple’s iCloud — we never see it.

Postcards you choose to share

Sharing is always something you start. When you share a postcard, the postcard image you selected — plus the metadata you see on it, such as the landmark, altitude and day — is uploaded so a link can be created and previewed by the person you send it to. That shared page also links back to the app. Nothing is uploaded in the background, and we don’t attach your identity to it.

Game Center

If you choose to use Game Center, Apple may provide the app with your Game Center player identifier and gameplay data needed for achievements, leaderboards, friend-only comparisons and ghost riders. We use this only to show those social features inside the game. It is not used for advertising or tracking, and you can keep playing the single-player journey without Game Center.

Voice companion

Voice companion is optional. If you press and hold the microphone button, the audio recording, transcript, selected companion, anonymous device user ID and current ride context are sent to our Cloudflare backend so Workers AI and Google Gemini can transcribe your speech, generate a short in-character reply, synthesize audio and keep a small conversation memory. We do not record in the background, do not use voice data for advertising or tracking, and do not store the raw microphone audio longer than needed to provide the reply.

Purchases

Optional cosmetic items are sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the payment; we receive only the confirmation needed to unlock your purchase. We never see your card or full payment details. To verify and restore a purchase across your devices, the app may exchange a non-identifying purchase token with our server.

Diagnostics

If you opt in through iOS, Apple may share anonymized crash and performance diagnostics with us to help fix bugs. This contains no content you create and no information that identifies you.

Children

Cycling 318 is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. Because there is no in-game account and no advertising, we do not build profiles for children. Optional Game Center features are provided by Apple and can be declined or managed through iOS.
