About the game
Cycling 318 is a cozy side-scrolling cycling game that retraces China’s real G318 — the Sichuan–Tibet Highway from Chengdu to Lhasa — as 20 days you actually ride: 2,150 km and a dozen passes above 4,000 m. There’s no countdown and no game-over; run out of stamina and you simply walk the bike.
Every frame is hand-drawn procedural vector art — not a single texture asset — so the whole road stays crisp at any size. The world runs on a 1:1 real-time clock with day and night and tonight’s real moon phase, living high-altitude weather, four seasons, and Tibetan festivals on their true dates. Made by Ride 318, an independent studio, and localized in seven languages.
