A concept we haven’t seen before
A cozy side-scroller that retraces a real, named road — China’s G318 from Chengdu to Lhasa — one of the world’s great cycling pilgrimages, as 20 days you actually ride.
A cozy ride to Lhasa — the real G318, 20 days, drawn entirely in code.
Cycling 318 retraces the Sichuan–Tibet Highway from Chengdu to Lhasa as a calm, side-scrolling cycling journey — 20 stages, 2150 km, 12 passes above 4,000 m. There’s no countdown and no game-over; just pedalling, weather, altitude, and the small rituals of a long ride. Every frame is hand-drawn procedural vector art — not one texture asset.

There isn’t a single texture asset. Every mountain, rider, snowflake and prayer flag is procedural vector art, so the whole 2,150 km route stays crisp at any size and in any theme.
Tibetan festivals, prayer flags, mani stones and a giant thangka unveiling appear in their true seasons — grounded research, not decoration. Fully localized in 7 languages.
No countdown clock, no ads, no subscriptions, no paid shortcuts. Run out of stamina and you simply walk the bike. A quiet, meaningful game for the whole family.
Snow peaks, glaciers, peach valleys, canyon bridges and the Potala — all rendered in vector art at runtime, so the world reads clean on any screen.
A 1:1 wall clock turns day into night as you ride, aligned to Tibet’s true solar time — Lhasa’s late, golden 9 pm sunsets — with tonight’s actual moon phase hanging in the sky.
High-altitude weather shifts beneath you: fog, rain, lightning forks, rainbows after the storm — and snow that settles on your rider, your bike and the village rooftops as you climb.
The same pass wears four moods. Ride in spring and Bomi’s 30 km peach valley blooms; ride in August and the Litang grassland fills with racing horses and tents.
Photograph viewpoints into hand-composed postcards, hang prayer flags at the passes, run errands for villagers, take a traveler’s photo, and ride with companions you’ll meet again days later.
